Tips to keep your keys or documents protected in transit
- Ask for the keys to be sent in a padded envelope or a small box, wrapped in paper or bubble wrap so they don't move around in transit.
- Documents are best placed inside a rigid sleeve or between two pieces of card, so they arrive without bends or creases.
- Never include a note with the home address alongside the keys. The delivery address is already on the label; there's no need to duplicate it inside the parcel.
- Take a photo of the contents before sealing the parcel: it'll act as a record of what you've sent.
- If it's the owner preparing the parcel, forward these tips to them by message: two minutes of good packaging saves nasty surprises.
